Deutz - a case study

Deutz - a German engine and generator manufacturer - came to us as they were running short on space due to growth and wanted to revamp their warehousing and distribution platform.

Deutz customise, assemble and test their products on-site for customers Australia-wide as well as maintaining a stock of slow and fast moving spare parts.

We spent time with their technical and warehouse people, reviewed their warehousing, distribution and access concerns and subsequently developed a briefing document we took to market anonymously. We managed to secure an off-market option in Melbourne's South East in an optimal location for their distribution network and at a rental that suited their budget.

Deutz were able to secure a decent incentive that meant no double rent was paid during the permit application and fitout period delivered by Think Property CRE Solutions and allowed for some breathing room for the move - which we also managed.
